To complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, you will need:

  1. Your home address
  2. Your Email address
  3. Your Phone number
  4. Your Social Security Number
  5. Your Alien Registration Number (if you are not a U.S. citizen)
  6. Your Federal Income Tax Returns, W-2s, and other earning records
  7. An FSA ID to sign your application electronically
  8. Bank statements and all investments records (if applicable to you)
  9. Records of income you are not taxed on (if applicable)

NOTE: If you are a dependent student, you will need most of the above information for your parent(s), and your parent(s) will need to create a FSA ID.
